If you're not on Facebook, you might of not noticed the launch of the Official Multi-National Corps-Iraq Facebook fan site. Either that or you just don't care. Apathy is a terrible sin, and you will burn forever!
The guys that were here last did an info-mercial called "Life of a Deployed Soldier." Check it out, it's on YouTube and the guy who did it was Specialist Gaylord (really that's his name).
At any rate, the current group of decision makers have decided to revive that concept. Well guess who is one of the stars?
If you said, this guy with two thumbs (that works much better when you can see me) then you would be right!
There will be a young PFC (actually the youngest Soldier on Camp Victory) and me. I guess that makes me old. Luckily I'm told the camera makes me look younger. (EDIT: No one actually told me that. I made it up.)
I have my suspicions that they want me for this for my gigantic height and her dimunitive stature. (Could she be a leprachaun? I'm not telling.)
Obviously, they did not look at my Facebook page. Thank goodness they didn't see my Myspace page. They would never of given me this gig. My number two on Myspace is my dog. I will throw out the caveat that Raven is the greatest dog eva, but shhhhhh don't tell the other two. They'd be jealous. (There's three if you didn't know and two cats.)
I would like to say I have an unlimited budget, but there will be no trips to New Zealand to film or empty oil tankers as props. How will my director dreams ever be realized at this rate?
Instead, we will film in the exotic location of Camp Victory, Iraq. We may even take it on the road. Skies the limit, I say. We may even do one in the sky since I can fly in a helicopter as much as I want as long as no one else more important needs the flight.
I love you Space-A. (Google it if you don't know what it is.)
Really what was the point of this blog? Oh yeah, I'm going to be YouTube famous in a couple of weeks. Maybe earlier if we do some promos.
It might involve me taking a dart to the neck. We'll see. Tell all your friends. I'm going to take a dart to the neck for the Army.
It'll be funny.
